By accessing the SplitSecond platform, you agree to these terms. Our community focuses on speedrunning, racing, and skill development. We expect all participants to maintain an atmosphere of fair competition and mutual respect.

• Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Accounts are strictly personal and cannot be shared or transferred.
• The platform must not be used to distribute malicious software, spam, or abusive content.

Integrity is the core of speedrunning. All submitted times and video proofs are subject to community review and strict verification protocols.

• Run submissions must include unedited, continuous video evidence unless a specific category dictates otherwise.
• Using unauthorized macros, modified game files, or external tools to manipulate times will result in a permanent ban from the platform.
• SplitSecond moderators reserve the right to reject runs or remove times from the leaderboard if evidence is deemed insufficient or suspicious.
• Event specific rules may override general leaderboard rules during live races.

SplitSecond provides the platform "as is". We strive for uninterrupted access, especially during scheduled events, but do not guarantee 100% uptime.

We are not liable for any data loss, including lost run history, tutorial progress, or race entry fees caused by technical disruptions beyond our control. Users are responsible for keeping local backups of their run footage.
